Keynote Speaker

Dr. Kimberlé W. Crenshaw is a civil rights advocate and pioneering scholar, who developed the “intersectionality” framework addressing how overlapping identities and experiences can lead to complex, and sometimes under-recognized, issues of inequity and inequality. Dr. Crenshaw currently serves as Isidor and Seville Sulzbacher Professor of Law at Columbia Law School, as well as Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of California, Los Angeles.
