Dear Parents and Staff,
I hope you are safe and well. We are pleased Long Island is in the process of reopening, and as you are aware, the governor recently reported our schools’ summer sessions must be held remotely. At this time, our daycare programs will continue to remain closed through August. While learning continues remotely throughout the summer, we will be working on our re-opening plans to be prepared when the governor allows schools to start the re-opening process. As always, we will do everything we can to support our students’ success and emotional well-being. We continuously seek to update and improve the remote learning and we would love to hear from you. We will be sharing a short survey within the next two weeks. Your feedback is greatly valued and appreciated.
As we strive to provide you with the best possible learning opportunities, we acknowledge the challenges remote learning presents to our students and families. We thank you for your continued support and partnership. Please, never hesitate to reach out to us – we are always here for you and our students.
Stay Well,
Marianne Klotz, Senior Director Diane Condy, Director, Barbara C. Wilson Pre-School/SUNY Old Westbury Debra Doyle, Director, Westbury-Post Center Paula DeVita, Director, Marcus Avenue Developmental Center Denise Gaughan, Assistant Director, Children’s Education Center, Brookville
