Dear Families,

Thank you for your advocacy in prioritizing updated visitation guidelines for certified residential homes under OPWDD. Your many calls, letters, and outreach far and wide expedited this process that will surely support the emotional well-being of the people supported throughout our programs.

We have been working with our colleagues in developing these initial guidelines and expect that they will likely grow and evolve as we continue to receive guidance from OPWDD and other regulatory agencies. Please read the guidelines thoroughly as there are several new procedures in effect that must be followed to ensure the safety of all people supported.

As always, we move forward as partners in this process and we will continue to provide updates as they become available.
